Yu Yvette Zhang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics at Texas A&M University. She received a Ph.D. degree in Biology from Duke University in 2004 and a PhD degree in Economics from Texas A&M University in 2010. Her research interests include consumer behavior, food marketing, applied econometrics, bioeconomics, environmental economics, and production economics. She is leading the Objective 4 of this project, “Understand consumer demand and industry preferences, identify barriers to crapemyrtle sales, and evaluate the socioeconomic benefit of CMBS research”, yzhang@tamu.edu; 979-845-2136.
