Pulkit Marwah is a PhD student (Agribusiness and Applied Economics) in the Department of Agricultural Economics, at Texas A&M University in College Station TX. He is working under the supervision of Dr. Yu Zhang on the crapemyrtle project, which is a multi-disciplinary multi-state Specialty Crop Research Initiative project titled- ‘Systematic Strategies to Manage Crapemyrtle Bark Scale. Dr. Zhang is leading Objective 4 ‘Improve our understanding of consumer and industry preferences and barriers to crape myrtle sales and consumers’ willingness to pay due to CMBS’.
